It may or may not be bullying on Paul's part, I don't have a view on that, but what I do think is that his comments are hardly very constructive. Rightly or wrongly, Aliki feels that aircraft noise has increased recently, and just saying he should move elsewhere really isn't at all helpful. Has aircraft noise increased recently? It's hard to tell objectively, as there's so much variability with the switching of the flight path when the wind is from a different direction, but it's an entirely reasonable hypothesis that noise has worsened either because the wind has been constantly from the south west or as a result of increased frequency of flights. Is there any evidence for this? Exploring this might be a bit more useful than just saying "go somewhere else." |
