Yes Concord was part of Britain at it's best & one always liked looking at the sleek [powerful] Passenger Plane. Noise was the reason America shunned the plane. Reckon they were real jealous. We have air travel so we have noise. But we need to keep things in perspective. At the moment I accept the level of noise we have to tolerate. What I don't want is to have a third of the planes passing overhead being filled with passengers who do not have London as their destination. If we don't keep an eye on matters then we could find ourselves in trouble with regard to noise levels. I feel quite lucky to not have an issue with plane noise. My mothers on a Sunday afternoon [family time] is upset but that's life. Johns post was interesting 'I totally agree' Justine seemed to let herself be brushed off [I know the feeling] Engineered sound does not exist because there is no agreed way of measuring this type of noise [with the then present government].... We must ask if this government have clarified the question of how we measure engineered sound. Love Putney Love this debate y'all Rock On |
