| You made a decision to move to Putney, therefore don't moan now. Like you and others, I would much prefer not to have the aircraft noise, but when I opted to move to Putney it is something I accepted. After all I'm sure that you are happy to use Heathrow for flights rather than trekking to our other London airports. Aircraft noise has been greatly reduced since the introduction of quieter engines over the years. If you wanted to have something to bleat about you should have lived her when Concorde flew over. Don't forget that London and the UK needs Heathrow and is a massive employer. With hindsight its location is far from ideal, but that is not going to change in the foreseeable future so best resign yourself to it or as I said move. |
