| Mr Callaway This does not really answer my question. What land mass do the Palestinians think constitutes the land of Palestine ? It is a tragedy for both Israel and the Palestinians but you rather unsubtly in my mind try to equate the fate and reputation of Israel and the Palestinians. Israel is only seen as a pariah nation by those that believe it should not have reacted to defend itself after being invaded last October by the Palestinians. Implacability in this context is necessary and admirable. Others that deem it a pariah state are those who do not believe it should be a nation at all and support those Palestinians wishing to destroy it or take steps themselves to do so. Gazans and other Palestinians would be best served if they themselves or neighbouring Arab states took their own steps to rid the area and the world of extreme Islamist and antisemites like Hamas. Then proper talking could take place. |
