Mr Ixer 'neighbouring countries with a vested interest should be discussing a strategy in plan'. Have you not noticed how little there is of support being given to the Palestinians in their fight with Israel by neighbouring Arab countries ? And certainly no offers to join the fight. To them the Palestinians and especially Hamas are regarded as a nuisance, an attitude that has been prevalent for decades. They don't want a war with Israel which they would probably lose and would certainly set off unrest amongst their populations. What they all want is a quiet life, except perhaps the militant theocracy that is Iran which is using Hamas, Hezbollah etc as proxies in a struggle against Saudi for domination of the region. |
