| not like me to write something like this...but in defence of the fairground people...here goes... I'm quite fond of the odd tipple in the Spencer arms during the week and on quite a few occasions fairground workers came in for a quiet drink. I spoke to a couple of them and have to say that they seemed like really nice people, especially the guy who ran the donkey rides. I'm not saying that all of them are nice etc and generally these would be the sort of people i'd go out of my way to avoid but the ones i spoke to were very nice. Plus, much as the fairground does cause noise and disruption it certainly seemed popular and it doesnt hurt to have something else to do round here surely? ref the caravan people though, fully agree they should be moved on asap. |
