| Jim, I understand from the other forum about Putney Fair that the cost to the fair was £6000. I enjoy using the common and think it is much better managed than Richmond's half, but I wonder how much those residents near Putney common subsidise Wimbledon, which has more patrols, conservation etc. I appreciate the fact that there is a warden on site during the day, but would appreciate more openness about the management if we are still paying an additional levy and having no input into decisions like the fair told what extra benefit the revenue from this achieves locally. |
