| My point about handouts now is that we shouldn't be handing money out. If Jews could manage in much tougher times without handouts then perhaps today's immigrants should do the same. And I didn't completely miss your point. You could have easily expanded on the fact that Jews assimilated completely here (unlike other immigrants, not all) instead you just left out what was a relevant fact while quoting Balfour. |
