| Tell me you're an anti-Semite without stating it The Jewish immigrants to whom Balfour referred to integrated seamlessly into British life, fought for Britain in WW2 and contributed to many professions within our society including medicine, law, the arts, education etc. These accomplishments came despite antisemitism that prevailed in the first half of the 20th century.They received no handouts from the British taxpayer as so many immigrants do today. So yes Mr Carter, we have been here before and antisemitism is rife again. |
