| Martine...re your choice, I think massive cuts in the public sector is the only way. It has become hugely bloated and much of it totally unaccoutable under this government with a proliferation of quangos and budgets for every conceivable minority interest group. Cut the lot and save a little on public sector pension obligations at the same time. I really don't think it fair to hammer the private sector yet again with yet more tax rises. The tax burden in this country is already at a record high lets not forget |
