| This is the first time I have been truly angered by politicians actions. Essentially this is fraud, tax evasion and theft on a massive scale. Hundreds of thousands of people commute to major cities, some run two homes and if any of them tried anything with their expenses either as employees, directors or partners in the businesss they'd be fired. There are clear expense rules set out by government and I'm fairly sure HMRC should be investigating why the politicians felt they could pass costs off as expenses and therefore not pay tax on that benefit. Not exactly tax avoidance, more evasion I think. |
