Mr Hawkes. In my recent visits to Glasgow during te past 2 or 3 years, it's seemed quite a thriving city? Perhaps more so than London. When was your last visit?

I'm not in favour of the UK breaking up. Perhaps some in Scotland see their future as part of the EU rather than the UK? The same is probably the case for many in Northern Ireland. Wales seems divided - in fact one (unintended?) outcome of Brexit, sadly, seems to be the deep division in UK politics.

There does seem to be a move away from the traditional two parties, and confusion over left and right; one wonders how many results are the outcome of tactical voting to avoid a particularly party winning?
