| Hello Martine, I am not too sure all Red Wall voters would be shocked if the government rejoins the EU, at least on a Norway agreement basis. This, by the way, was the favourite option of Farage. Talk to fishermen who went under when Brexit came into effect; I am not talking of one or two. I cannot see why we should not trade with the biggest block next to us but opt to trade with the US or countries on the other side of the world. Economically, it does not make any sense! I was horrified when Cruella cancelled the Erasmus programme, for example. You do NOT play with education! To make matters worse, she was studying law in Cambridge and did her year abroad under Erasmus. Furthermore, she did her Master's as an Entente Cordiale Scholar and read French and European Law. Words escape me. I am not keen on Labour but, at the moment, I am not keen on any of them. I think the calibre of our politicians is truly dire which is heartbreaking. But to have the kind of reaction we are having after local elections, not by-elections, is totally reckless. Since when have local councillors had a say on foreign policy, on central government decisions? London Council don't even have a great influence on TfL!!!!! |
