Mr Hawkes. I see you fail to answer my question as to why there are so many organisations against racism in football. Obviously you don't have one. In the 60s, 70s, ~80s ... when I followed Tottenham the "Yid Army" didn't come on my agenda - perhaps because I didn't attend matches? It's only something I've become of more recently. Yes, carbon emissions from motor racing (and other sports that involve a lot of air traffic - think of all those flights to the US this summer for players, officials and fans attending the world Cup. F1 is considering this; hence their hybrid cars, and my attendances at recent races have been Formula E - twice at Battersea Park and a couple of weekends at the ExCel centre (both interesting racing venues!) and all travel to and from on public transport:-) |
