| " Your comparison with Erpingham Road did not work, not because we cannot understand what the Council successfully achieved in Erpingham Road but the idiotic idea from the government to create private roads. " The comparison with Erpingham Road was simply that the changes requested by the local residents (to stop their road being adversely affected by rat-runners) also affected the local residents in that they were inconvenienced by the changes too. What most people seem to want with changes to local traffic is for the non-residents to stop being able to use the local roads but local residents to be completely unaffected. That's just not how it ends up working, you can't have your cake and eat it. Your comments about discounted taxes are a perfect example of this sense of entitlement. |
