Yes, I 'understand' (i.e. haven't a clue) that a flat 25% will be levied on cars going in to the US. Re. the 'currency manipulations and trade-barriers' and tariffs charged on the US, according to people knowledgable in this area, the 'calculations' are very simple; subtract the imports from a country to the US, from the exports to the same country from the US, and the result becomes a percentage and then that percentage is halved and that becomes the "reciprocal discounted tariff'. Yes I know, it is complete nonsensical mumbo-jumbo, but there you go, that seems to be the level they are operating on. In this case, I think Starmer is spot on, don't react, let's see how things evolve; my guess is that 'tremendous-deals' are done next week, and that it largely blows over. Storm in Trump cup!
