Mr Hawkes. I don't really care about the SNP, other than I'm not keen on breaking up the UK. This type of fraud, which is almost certain to be uncovered, seems irrational to me. Particularly when one buys a camper van and parks it at one's mother's home? As Mr Ainsworth said, £400,000 over 12 years hardly seems worth it given the risk of reputational damage? But who knows, it's puzzling? Perhaps more details will emerge during sentencing, although as he pleaded guilty Perhaps the details will never emerge unless to SNP provides details to the donors? |
