He did it do try to gain influence. I think there are groups called 'registered lobbyists' that do this daily in the HoC. And of course Trades Union and 'progressive' pressure groups are doing the same with financial donations and other assistance. What's the difference other than for some reason Farage is today's bogey man in West Putney. Why is that might I ask ? Having to have your passport scanned very slowly as the French supporting IT system is so merde and cannot cope on Bank Holidays ! Much as I sympathise with restrictions on your "Happy Wanderings' might I ask if you think we should have an open border system so that anyone who wants to can travel with similar ease from Europe (and places further afield) to the UK as you did in your more youthful years ?
