| Iran’s avowed aim is to wipe the ‘Zionist entity’ off the map. In pursuit of this aim Iran has financed and armed its proxies - Hezbollah, Hamas and the Houthis - to attack Israel over several years. And Iran has enriched uranium to a level far beyond anything that might be needed for peaceful purposes with the clear intention of building a nuclear bomb. These are all facts. And as if this weren’t enough, the Iranian regime murdered around 30 000 of its own citizens over two weeks in January, shooting peaceful protesters in the eyes and the groin. I can’t imagine that anyone on the Forum feels anything but contempt for the regime and suspicion of its aims. So my question remains, what should be done about Iran? |
