The Putney Society is active on a number of fronts and we have four panels who meet monthly (though not always in July/August) and whose remit is clear from their names: Transport, Buildings, Community and Open Spaces. The Exec meets monthly but I missed the August meeting because I’m still in Edinburgh. Anyone, especially our members, is welcome to contact us via our website www.putneysociety.org.uk or via the contact details in our monthly Bulletin and raise any local issues that concern them. We are all volunteers of course and, like me, take holidays from time to time. A few of us can still find time to contribute to this Forum, in my case in a personal capacity unless indicated otherwise. I am not aware at this stage of any of our c.1000 members contacting us about the Telegraph but I may be wrong. As others have noted on this thread there does not seem to be an upsurge in local opposition to possible development plans for the Telegraph. |
