| I was not in a local school, but I do not think that that would have been an official policy. However, an individual school or an individual teacher ... Perhaps some religious knowledge teacher covering the Old Testament and endeavouring to make it relevant? Or, as I found recently from my own early life, a young child having a strong and important memory for decades, and finding out much later that it was wrong in one significamt detail? (In my case, it was a good memory, and the better understanding actually improved it). |
