| One could argue that the UK government is supporting Israel and not the other counties listed. However the UK supported the Saudis and it's bombing of civilians and have also supported extreme Syrian opposition groups. One of those extreme groups is now in government. No doubt having dinner with our government whilst there are still reports of atrocities against ethnic minorities. I would have to conclude it is to give people something to shake their fists at knowing that most of those fist shakers will continue to support UK's foreign policy. In short it makes people feel better complaining but not actually wanting any change. |
