Ah, yes, Mr Hawkes; I can see that would be confusing. I was a bit puzzled by your response - then the penny dropped! I wasn't being deliberately confusing or distracting: I was responding to your original post (48 days ago according to the Forum's GUI interface) setting up this thread. I hadn't (and haven't yet) read the post you're referring to, or the link in it. I thought I responded to the thread, not an individual post but as I think at the same time I was discussing software defined manufacturing with my wife - and she gets a higher priority interrupt level than the Putney Forum :-) - I may have got that wrong. You have to understand, some of us just dive in and out of the forum when time allows, and long threads with long lists and detail are difficult to digest, particularly when one's trying to just skim them and pick out salient points. Sorry, if that's a problem for you, but that's life. |
