I think there has been a lot of focus on Russia's attack on Ukraine, and I seem to recall a lot about UNPROFOR/NATO intervention at the time, and subsequent ICC involvement? (Memory is a but hazy on that.) Looking at that list, I have seen reports on many of those but, unlike Israel, I don't think many a classed as close allies of the UK, are they? It might not be the answer, just a view on why Israel might attract more attention? There's also the possibility that more people in the UK have relatives in Palestine than other areas of conflict so it gets a higher profile? |
