I'm sure that you don't really mean that Suzanne, do you? There's no such thing as what you call "non-politicised education". I gave six examples in my previous comment as to why. For you to oppose what you call "social engineering" - and what I call equality of opportunity - is a case in point. Free schools are the most political education idea there's been for a generation. For reference, the idea stems from a rather obscure, right-wing philosopher called Robert Nozick. |
