Agree to disagree. The problem with Education and the NHS is the amount of politics already involved in it - the more politics that is removed the more efficient the service given. John you are being flippant liking cancer suffers to buying and selling CD's which I find offensive. It is clear safeguards would be put in place and I think in the case of GP fundholders you are crying fire before everyone, or in our case, anyone has had a real chance to view the facts. I am sure most Headteacher's now find themselves running "businesses" e.g. accounts, procurement etc so Alan I think that argument is a red herring. The real case is - do the teachers and doctors think this is a good thing? As a parent and a patient I personally, and it is a personal view say tell me more and maybe yes. |
