Mr Hawkes. Long term if the Straight of Hormaz issue isn’t resolved it'll probably affect everyone. The US is the biggest producer but also probably the biggest user. Short term it seems likely that Taiwan and South Korea are the most vulnerable as they source helium from Qatar, which produces around a third of the global supply and is currently unavailable. I understand new sources are likely to become available in Canada and are being Explored in Greenland - so perhaps Europe could be okay as it appears a number of Canadians want to join the EU and Greenland already has its Danish connection ... Well, the real reason for putting AI Stargate on the shelf (or table, as the Americans would say) may be politics, particularly over regulations ... but maybe if AI is going rogue like Claude we need to slow down and have more regulations? Anyway, some of this could be 3-4 yests away; a new person in the White House then? |
