| Richard, it is certainly my opinion that the accusation of genocide against Israel is false, but on the principle that a person (or a country) is innocent until proved guilty, I don’t have to prove my claim. It is for you and all the other misguided people who regularly repeat this monstrous charge to prove their claim. Yet you provide no evidence and when contradictory arguments are presented, you simply ignore them. All you do is quote sources who agree with you and then not always faithfully. For example, it is not true that the ICJ has called South Africa’s accusation of genocide ‘plausible’. Joan Donoghue, former President of the ICJ, gave an interview to the BBC where she stated that she wanted to correct the misconception that the court found a ‘plausible case of genocide’. What the ICJ concluded is that the Palestinians had a ‘plausible right’ to be protected from genocide and that it was prepared to hear South Africa’s case. |
