Please confirm the terms of the ‘in principle’ agreement which you have reached in order that I may put forward my proposal to Wandsworth. Do you have a draft lease that you can flip on to me? I note that the land will be advertised, and that Wandsworth may or may not go ahead with a sale. When do you expect to decide? I cannot see the connection between ‘antisocial behaviour’ and ‘locking it up to prevent access’ and the need to sell the land, albeit on a 20 year lease. Locking the land up has presumably already stopped the anti social behaviour. Alternative proposals could allow public use of the land and the anti social behaviour can perhaps be contained or managed effectively. Can you please expand on the River Walk point, ie how selling the land as private gardens to residents who have substantial private gardens is aligned with the local plan aspirations in respect of the River Walk. Surely it is opposite lock, as the land will be lost in terms of the River Walk and in 20 years the residents will simply ask for a new lease, so they can keep their large gardens which back onto the Thames. How does that advance the River Walk? Am I missing something? In terms of the planning consent it is still shown are not being validated on the website. There is no consultation underway, or site notices or letters to neighbours, the supporting documents are incomplete. The land also falls within the Deodar Road Conservation Zone and is adjacent to a Historic England Grade II listed Park. Has the Conservation Officer been consulted? Have Historic England been consulted? Has anyone been consulted? I look forward to you response Kind regards John |
