I'm Vice Chair of Friends of Wandsworth Park. Our committee has not yet had a chance to meet to discuss this but what I can tell you is that we have been asking the Council/Enable for over two years whether we could use that area for an Education Centre or for plantings. At no point did anyone inform us of this pending planning application. The last time we raised it with Enable was last week! We shall definitely be responding and we urge everyone else to do so, as well. Many good ideas have been suggested in the Forum and we would consider all. Please join Friends of Wandsworth Park. The more members we have, the more effective we can be and all our voices will be heard.  Our next meeting is 19th June at 7pm at the Hurlingham Yacht Club, Deodar Road. Hope to see you there.
