| Sadly I'd have to win the Euromillions to have a chance of making it mine William! I do think the park should remain a public asset and object strongly to bits of it being sold off for private use as proposed because it sets a dangerous precedent. What could that lead to? We could potentially see the park being sold off in chunks to wealthy individuals or even to a developer who would most likely build luxury flats all over it. Putney has too many of those as it is and is! Not sure about your idea of a community fruit and veg garden, do you mean something like small allotments? |
