I think there is probably a bit of misunderstanding on both sides. I must admit as someone who has worked with dogs for a long time and who can tell from a dogs body language which ones are likely to be friendly or not I have no fear of dogs and find it hard to understand when people do, especially when dogs are judged depending on their breed, indeed any dog can be dangerous. I understand that Martine didn't know how intrusive she would find the clinic but I do worry that sometimes it is blown out of proportion, for example the crematorium collections are normally done around 9pm, not 3am. They do their best to keep the residents happy, they do their best to bring noisy dogs inside and the handyman regularly cleans the carpark and surrounding pavement to keep it as mess-free as possible. Of course if clients are regularly not cleaning their dogs mess then any attempts are futile. As for clients waiting on the public pavement, they have no control over that whatsoever. Any complaints about mess would be for the local council, not the dog warden. |
