I have read through all of your comments on this and as someone who works closely with this hospital I have found some of the comments, from one local in particular, laughable. Firstly it is mentioned how the women had a bad feeling and left her children in the car. If this is so then that bad feeling would have caused her to steer clear of the dog and not get bitten in the first place, so therefore maybe the bit about the bite being unprovoked should be taken with a pinch of salt, she would have had to have been next to the dog to be bitten in the first place. You talk about the Eileen Lecky clinic being next door but most responsible parents wouldn't let their child near an unfamiliar dog. The Lecky clinic is fenced off and actually rather seperate to the animal hospital so therefore that argument is pretty invalid, not to mention the fact that there have been no incidents involving children at Putney. There is a lot of talk about the pavements being blocked by clients but this is a pretty silly argument since how can the hospital have control over a public path?! I get annoyed when I walk past schools and the mums are too busy chatting to move out the way, maybe I should write and complain to the school, pretty stupid argument really isn't it? I also read a comment on how annoying it is that people smoke outside, well how many hospitals do you know that allow smoking inside? Think before you write. There are indeed poo bags, disposal bins and cleaning equipment on site but of course it is up to the owners to make use of these. Lastly, to the resident who seems to have a big problem with the RSPCA (I'm sure you know who you are) I'm sure the hospital was there before you moved in so deal with it or move on, either way you should consider growing up. I don't think the council are the ones in denial, I think you are, the hospital is going nowhere. Maybe you should consider taking up a hobby or getting a job instead of trying to change something you can't. |
