| By the way the drunken owner of the dog was a client of the animal hospital. He and a woman had been waiting outside on the pavement with the dog, which is used as an overflow waiting area. When the planning application was passed for the new extension to the animal hospital, residents warned that some of the dogs were vicious. Last year a bull mastiff attacked its owner on the premises and the police were called to assist in its destruction. Now a bull mastiff bites someone on the street, next to the baby clinic.
