| "Consultation period expires: 18th August 2010". But I think you'll find comments made any time up to Committee date (assuming it goes to full C'tee) are taken into account. Certainly I've found the Officers to be amenable previously. There are some problems with this scheme from a conservation perspective. The effect of proposals on Views into and out of conservation areas have to be taken into account and if I were objecting I'd probably go down that route. As for the 'tall buildings strategy' I believe that the Council's limit is 8 storeys after which anything bigger constitutes a tall building. The present proposal seems a bit rich for that site I must say. |
