The important thing in all applications is to send comments to both the case officer and the local ward Councillors. The case officer for this application is R Claxton, contact at planningapplications@wandsworth.gov.uk (do not forget to include site details and application number ie 74 Upper richmond Road, application 2010/2916 and your our name and address). Since the Wandsworth website is, it seems, permanently under maintenance, it is impossible to view the application and use the "comment on this application" tab. The contact details of the local Councillors cannot be displayed on the website either but their contact details are: East Putney Ward: rmorritt@wandsworth.gov.uk rgovindia@wandsworth.gov.uk lmcdonell@wandsworth.gov.uk Thamesfield: elister@wandsworth.gov.uk jmaddan@wandsworth.gov.uk rtorrington@wandsworth.gov.uk Do ask your Councillor to pass on your comments to the case officer. It is extremely unforunate that this application lodged during the summer holiday period is also not viewable on the website and therefore cannot be commented on in any other way than mentioned above. If any of you are having more luck viewing the application, let us know. The other option is to find out which Councillor will be doing a surgery at the Putney library next saturday. This can be established by going to the library on friday. You can then book a meeting to air your views. The other option is to contact Justine Greening and arrange a meeting with her to pass on your views. She has I believe a monthly surgery with details at the library. This may not fall within the deadline for consultation ie 18th August. The key to expressing our views is to get the comments, positive or otherwise, out to the case officer and local Councillors. I hope that some effort will be made by the Council to facilitate access to the planning documents for this application as a matter of urgency. |
