| Fully agree with that Isabel. I also suspect as has happened in previous cases of website failure that when it does become available the end of consultation date will show the 18th August. So even those who manage to eventually view it will think that it is too late for them to comment. The limited audience of this forum may have found a way to comment on applications that interest them and that were advertised prior to the system failure, hundreds of interested others will have been denied that opportunity. One questions whether more effort, commitment, ressources and skills would have been thrown at the problem if the failure had happened in the council tax paying system. |
