| Mr Rose Another excellent analysis of the situation that puts the contributions of all of us other posters in the shade. Personally I think that recognition of the state of Palestine, namely Gaza and the West Bank, should be acknowledged. But only once Israel feels itself protected from the chaos and carnage that would result from this move as two fascist groups, Hamas and Fatah fight each other for control of it and any spoils that might result. Not many of the latter for the Palestinian people of course as both groups are unelected, corrupt and one at least a groups of terrorist killers, that could not run a whelk stall (if that is not an Islamophobic comment). I think Israel's biggest problem might be turning back Palestinians from its borders, no longer to attack it, but to try themselves become part of it to enjoy 'the good life' of a western style economically thriving democracy. Something that Palestine will never be. |
