| Mr Boyce 'There is overwhelming and indisputable evidence of a humanitarian catastrophe. Starvation is widespread. People are dying from hunger.' Don't want to appear callous but how many Palestinians have died from hunger ? Figure from the Hamas Health Ministry (sic) do not count. Whatever the number, will we not look back on this conflict and ask ourselves "why did Hamas not spend more time and put more effort into building up a viable food supply for Gaza and grow its economy more generally before, rather than expend so much of both planning and then carrying out an invasion of Israel and a pogrom" ? Do you think Hamas should not take some responsibility for the situation the Palestinians find themselves in ? |
