Germany is a much larger country than the UK as is France and Spain. Looking at these figures, the UK seems to be taking its fair share. The size of the country has to be important if we are talking about massive building projects to accommodate the burgeoning population. That is unless we are happy to end up like China where people have been known to commit suicide from the effects of living in high density, high rise, low privacy accommodation (a bit like battery chickens I suppose). |
