| social engineering peaked in the Brighter Borough in the 80's when the voluntary sales programme (over and above the right to buy)was at its peak utilising what was then called 'sales areas' on Housing Estates. that was around the era when the conservative hold on the town hall was at its peak so many of those now on this site whingeing are probably the very same folk who returned conservative councillors during that period. its a bit late now the horse well and truly bolted 20=30 years ago. how did you vote during that period? |
