| There is no easy solution to the problems of this junction but it is a dangerous one for both cyclists and pedestrians. i wonder if a single phase change of the traffic lights would help, allowing pedestrians to cross all parts of the junction in one go, and incidentally allowing cyclists to wheel their bikes over at the same time. The junction has been designed entirely for the benefit of drivers and really that has to change if we are serious about improving our street environment. |
