Thanks for this data - extremely interesting. The issue we have locally is that there is a high volume of rat running (many cars included) along a residential road, which also happens to be a bus route. This then clogs up the traffic and means that buses spend far more time waiting to move than would be the case if there were not so many motor cars, however efficient they may be. This in turn increases the amount of pollution being pumped into people's front gardens from the engines of the buses while their engines are idling. Pollution has been measured and is high at the bottlenecks which also happen to be outside homes where children live. So far we have spent 6 years trying to get the Council and TFl to talk to each other so that could explain why I am not holding my breath either.
