| Really, people, at a time when we need to reduce car use (for environmental and health reasons, obviously), it's crazy for Waitrose and Sainsbury's to be encouraging car use by subsidising it. If they acted responsibly they would make sure that car users paid the full costs that they imposed on the rest of us, including the additional pollution and congestion that they cause. But instead they are too keen to get the custom and sod the consequences. |
