| Recently Sainsburys have altered their car park arrangements. Now one basically has to spend £15 or over in order to park your car (up to 90mins). This seems discriminatory to me and other single people who were frequent users of the shop but only spent £5-£10 on just getting provisions for the day. One can pay £2 for the 90mins but that seems an unfair excess on £5. I would suggest this is a real customer loser for Sainsburys and when I put these points to a manager there was no sympathy from him. He said they had problems with people parking there and shopping at Waitrose. I find that hard to believe since it would be quite an effort to carry shopping that far. I have not been back to Sainsburys since and I have been informed by somebody who works there that this has been the quietest period ever for them. I suggest they modify or get rid of this brainless scheme before they lose more customers! |
