| Where there are shared cycle and pedestrian footways I would like the markings not to just be a small blue and white sign high up a lamp post behind a hedge but actually low down on the ground or as I have seen in Kew on bollards at low level. I also think that the No Cycling road sign is poor and people who don't drive and who haven't passed a driving test will not have learned this. This is a round white sign with a red edge and a picture of a cycle. If you were in a shopping mall you are more likely to see a sign with a line through the picture of a cycle which has a more obvious meaning. |
