Hello Wayne, Thank you for the post and the link you provided. I am sorry to hear about your experience on a pedestrian crossing. Sadly, it is not unusual, whether you are with your 4 year old daughted or a frail person crossing the road. I have had the same experience as you did when crossing on a pedestrian crossing. I agree with you, some cyclists are impossible and rude as an extra. May I say not all cyclists are irresponsible but those who are, stick out like a sore thumb. Not only do they not stop at pedestrian crossings and red lights, they almost defy you because, if something happens to them, it is your fault regardless of their behaviour in the road. The latter particularly applies to drivers. I have cameras in the front and back of my car. I shall forward a copy of the video with my complaint if need be. Thank you once again for the post. |
