Hello Ivonne.  Thanks for asking about the impact of the storms.  Not too many problems caused on the Island thankfully, except in Ryde in roads close to the Monkton Mead, including The Strand, which experienced flooding affecting residential properties.  The railway tunnel near Ryde Esplanade Station was also severely flooded - this has happened before over many decades and again is always caused by an overflowing Monkton Mead, which runs parallel to the railway in Ryde.  I hope Putney was not badly affected?
