Subsequent email received from Sharon Wright, Waste Manager, included this: "...we do operate a Rapid Response service. Where if litter or fly tips appear on any other day (because we all know they do)  if they are reported to us on 020 8871 8558 or logged on-line they will be cleared usually the same day." I've emailed her today (stwright@wandsworth.gov.uk) to say that the scheduled Wednesday weekly clean along Putney Heath did not happen yesterday.
