| I take the 22 from Putney up to Sloane Square every morning at 7am and normally sit in the upstairs front seats. Its amazing how many cyclists there are on the road and how variable the standard of compliance with the highway code is. I have to say though that the bus drivers are remarkably tolerant of the cyslists and do everything to keep out of the way especially on the narrow section of the New Kings Road. From my daily observations I think its unfair to categorise all bus drivers as being unhelpful to cyclists. If anything its the other way round and random behaviour from cyclists is the problem. |
